Well its coming up on another seaon of Rainbow Trout here soon. Season opens last saturday in April. Still a month away but the fish are already running up stream full force. Thanks to the warm winter and lack of ice this should be a good rebound year for the rainbow. Hope that most of them spawn and get back out to the lake before the season opens. There is alot of smaller ones running this year from what I have seen.

 

I have been watching Shelter Valley Creek in Grafton and the Cobourg creek that runs through the park over the past few weeks. Below I am posting som pics that I took today while in cobourg waiting for my dads truck to be serviced at the dealership.

 

Most of the fish I have seen i would estimate are between 12-20 inches in length, and the odd larger one over 24 inches.

 

I had to adjust the contrast on some of the pics to make the fish stand out.

Well I finally got my car.

My buddy Chad Wells, gave me a ride into trenton, I ended up having to wait 2 hours for it to get done, but it was worth it. The mechanic had just saftied it and took it for a test drive and the ABS light came on.. So they ended up putting new rear drums and brake shoes on the car. Hell the car is like new now.. All new brakes on all four corners and new exhaust, new tires.. Sweet deal for $5000 out the door, certified and etested with 12 month powertrain warranty.

It will be a while before i can afford to do anything to the car, but just looking to retint the front two windows to match, get a factory rear spoiler, and get a cd player in it. And then later find a nice set of rims. But Right now, its good to go, and very happy with it.  Heres some pics. I still have to detail the interior and then I will post those pics.

Well everyone has a bad spot in there life.. And I just hit mine recently.

Monday March 6th - My Great Grandmother in PEI passed away.
Tuesday March 7th - My pickup truck caught fire and destoryed the interior
Thursday Marth 9th - I got layed off my New job after only 3 weeks!

 

That was about the worst week I have ever had.

 

Thank god for having my wonderful girlfriend Kristen. She means the world to me and

helped keep me sane through that week. With out herI would be lost and wouldn't
know what to do.

Recently droped off some resumes at a bunch of differnt locations in Bowmanville, Oshawa and Pickering.
Hoping to get back in with Van & Truck World eaither working at the Oshawa store or the Pickering warehouse.

 

On the good side I was able to get some help from my dad and we were able to find me another vehicle.

 

1996 Pontiac Grand Am, 4 Door, V-6 Auto. Its in excellent shape, and will definalty be better on gas then my truck. I will miss my truck alot.. But i know Kristen won't.. :P

 

 

Well figured everyone else has a MSN space so I guess i might as well start one. Plus it will help people see my photos and maybe get me some work. :D
